As a museum worker, Emily uses writing to investigate issues of representation and labor in art and history museums. She turns this lens outwards as a creative non-fiction writer exploring interactions between art, history, and politics. She co-authored the now extinct Les Foufounes Folles with Kari Belsheim, and was formerly a Community Cultural Curator for Flavorpill New York. Her writing has also been featured in Nowhere magazine, Coldfront, the Feminist Wire, and Feministing. Her museum writing has been featured on the WestMuse, CFM Future of Museum Education, and Incluseum blogs. Check the blog for more musings and publication updates.
